Philosophy

In Japan today, demand for generic medicines is growing,
and a secure supply of generic APIs is imperative.

Tohri will keep working even harder to meet
the demands of society.

	Tohri imports APIs in collaboration with its partner plants in China and other countries. The quality of APIs manufactured overseas is a particularly important issue. At Tohri, our employees directly visit local plants whenever necessary and work to achieve a high level of quality control through close cooperation with managers at our partner plants. We also provide manufacturing and quality control technologies to local plants, increasing the stability of the API supply chain. We are constantly building a stronger supply structure to give greater reassurance to domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Tohri approaches 40th anniversary

Tohri Company Ltd. was established in 1976. The company started out distributing APIs for fertility drugs which, at the time, were still in short supply in Japan, causing an imbalance between supply and demand. >> History of Tohri Company Ltd.
